About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Python / PHP Developer to join our growing technology team. As a core member of our backend engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust applications and APIs using Python / PHP frameworks. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, QA, and project managers to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement server-side logic using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

• Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Document development processes, code, and APIs.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of professional experience in Python / PHP development.

• Proficiency in at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI), PHP (WordPress, Laravel).

• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.

• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Good knowledge of API design, RESTful services, and JSON data exchange.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and WebSockets.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience with unit testing and TDD.
